Through the drive for continuous improvement, ingenuity and the use of advancing technology, Transco believes cost reduction on this scale is attainable. Project QuarterBack5 began with a pilot project in the West Midlands. This concentrated on the Repair and Metering businesses. The pilot project demonstrated the potential for cost reduction on the scale required.
